No idea why he's so reluctant to play Bellingham, he's demonstrated his quality at Dortmund and should be in the team. I'd like to see him alongside Rice or Ward-Prowse. We also need a centre forward instead of either Foden or Mount. I'd go with Kane and Abraham with Foden behind.
He’ll start on Tuesday. Most players will only start one game and he’s earmarked him for that one. Which makes sense with it being African opposition.
Won their World Cup qualification group (including Italy) without losing a game. Not a glamorous name in world football. But a team to be reckoned with, ranked 14 in the world.
Huge contribution for the goal and similar positive interceptions. Looked assured enough. Most of our issues came down their left.
England's colours are white shirts, navy shorts. Switzerland is red shirts white shorts so......why were we treated to yet another complete change of both kits and yet another bow to the fad of teams playing in same colour shorts as their shirts? We may as well just go the same way as boxing and have every game played with one team in all red and the other in all blue. As long as they can get the makers' logo on there that is.
Should go the way of American football. Home team wear their colours, away team wear white. Bonus is it fecks Leeds Utd up!
It help when tickets were £25. I went yesterday. £50 ticket and travel. Cost that to Bramall Lane !!!!
There’s always great deals at Wembley. I’m there on Tuesday night through the family ticket where it’s something like 2 x Adults and 2 x Kids for £50. Been my regular ticket for years as I try and build my caps up for the away games/tournaments. People get surprised when Wembley sells out because they assume everyone thinks like they do and is disinterested in the national team. Reality is they’ve never been more popular and we’re just one kick away from our first major trophy in the majority of our lifetimes.
All the folk that criticise the national team would be surprised how many reds fans follow England. On my train from wakey yesterday morning saw a few familiar faces, same after game around kings cross.
