It’s only like down at Oakwell when the crowd decides on a player they do not like ,starts with a few voices then because people are sheep it grows till there’s quite a few joining in
England fans booing Harry Maguire have very short memories, booing him or any other player putting on that shirt & representing our country needs to give your head a wobble...absolutely pathetic He drinks the vodka & necks the Jaeger...his heads feckin massive.....overcome it H
I don't think it's appropriate, useful, or needed, to be booing England players prior to kick off for an International game. Club performance/supporter opinion should be separated, and united, when the England team are playing. Thankfully, it was only a minority and appears to have come across louder on TV than at Wembley. There were far more people cheering every player, which is the more positive message and topic to talk about.
Thanks. I was more interested in what practical actions should be taken to 'stamp it out' or whether, in hindsight, you were just throwing out the phrase because of your (understandable) annoyance?
Why was he booed, out of interest? Seems a bit weird to go to an England match and boo one of your own players? Has he been punching cats or summat?
It may be due to the increase of ball bags that's attending games of late. Not long since we hosted the Euros, and jeez!, what a spectacle that was at times! I'm surprised we're in the running to host the Euros again after the debacle at the final
