just read past emails the people Tariff is by far their cheapest VARIABLE tariff ahah so yeah it will be going up
Submitted mine to Octopus earlier this morning. Unsure about how much it will save me. But it was done with minimal fuss. Unfortunately I once again failed to win anything on their wheel of fortune.
put mine in by phoning up. hopefully they will upade as normal. probably try entering online closer to midnight tonight
Can't even read mine. I just have a scrolling message congratulating me that my meter is communicating with So energy.
Bulb have a virtual queue, which I was in for 5 minutes or so. I kept getting error messages advising me to try again in 24 hours when submitting the readings, so I kept reinputting. I now have about 20 emails thanking me for my readings!
You don't need to do it today. Where you enter the reading it asks for the date you took it, and even if it doesn't a few days won't make any difference. Do it next week, it'll be fine by then.
I've taken a time-stamped picture. I'm not queueing for an hour. they can go fk. I'll just cancel my direct debit if they acting up, and we'll go from there.
I’ve always found Octopus very good, I’m on a fixed tariff till 2023 so I’m unsure how it will effect me? I already owe them a fortune!
Looking through my emails seems I missed the opportunity in December to go on a fixed tariff (for new customer automatically transferred) until January 2024 It was more than my current one but not sure how it compares to the one I will be on tomorrow. I dont understand it all if I’m completely honest
Tried and failed to submit readings all day yesterday so in the end I emailed images of the meter to our supplier (Shell Energy)....
Just read in the papers that all this is Martin Lewis who has brought Britain to a standstill. The energy companies are blaming him for not being able to get on the sites as they have all crashed.Nothing to do with the robbing bar stewards fleecing everybody in the country.
I don’t even know what they mean by ‘brought Britain to a standstill’. A few specific sites temporarily went down so people couldn’t submit their readings, it’s not like the actual gas or electric itself went off.
Is this the eon thing, or summat wider? All I’ve seen is this eon tweet, which they’ve said was meant to be a joke. If the papers are attributing that to ‘all energy companies blaming him’, then it’s a bit of $hit lazy journalism tbf
