    Last time I used Manchester was 2016 and it was bedlam then. Luckily have managed to avoid it since, using E. Mids, Donny and Liverpool.

    I know a lot of things dictate where you fly from but we try to fly from stanstead know it’s a bit of a treck but last few flights for us from there seamless

    Same here , flown more than a dozen times from Stanstead over the last couple of years and had no issues so far
    2 flights booked for there later in the year and its becoming my first choice airport though we are travelling from Liverpool in a weeks time so fingers crossed that’s not as hectic as Manchester

    They laid off a load of staff who have since got better jobs. so yes it's due to it but due to staff leaving not due to staff sickness.

    Wow, that's looks horrific. I'd pay more to fly from anywhere else. Just avoid. Can just imagine what it will be like in the Easter holiday

    Not quite as bad as that earlier but just one check in person per 3 + flights therefore having to rush through security to make the flight is ridiculous Be better to have you queue according to flight times and get rid of that fasttrack boarding!

    Went last week, we paid for fast track, 50 mins to check in cases & security, I do hate the place though, east Midlands is so much better and owned by same company I believe

    No if you get the Eurotunnel there aren't any passenger carriages you sit in your car - but as the crossing is only 35 mins that's not much of an issue

    We’re flying from Manchester in a months time with the one year old. Really hoping the situation has improved by the time we get there or else it’s going to be hell. At the very least it should be quieter as it’s during term time.
