If, as some have suggested, Fulham have a 50% sell on for Woodrow, there might be more value in letting him see out his contract than selling him.
Only saying they might stay if we sell all the other players listed. I can see us selling about 5 key playuers, not sure we'd sell any more. And I'd have thought clubs would be more keen on Helik, Styles, Morris etc than Cauley and Mads. Might be wrong
Iseka has started 15 games to Vics 8 iseka 9 times sub to Vics 15 both scored 3 goals in a team that has produced buggar all chances. For me I would give Vic another year he is the cheaper option of the two and also is one who offers more work rate wise than Iseka who looks lazy. Try to offload Iseka if poss. Both know the rest of the squad so no settling in period like any newbies.
Unfortunately he has never done well anywhere , we bought him on the back of him scoring against us for Coventry but I think Derby were laughing all the way to the bank, all they did was loan him out & then pick up over a million for potential & the rest they say is history .
I know who I'd back to score goals at L1 level if both were given a run in the side. It wouldn't be Vic. He's a trier but he'll never be a goalscorer.
How many seasons do we keep giving Victor ? he is a likeable lad but look at his career stats ,& he is not a rookie & I am sorry but it is time to wave goodbye & wish him well .
I think neither will be prolific but its about what we need and on that we are have different opinions
You could say the same or similar for Palmer Benson Cole Oluare Iseka Schmidt Halme Miller And more the problem with our recruitment the past seasons is its been far too much quantity over quality.
Thought he had a good season with Coventry and their fans were raving over him that season. If we signed him because he scored us our recruitment is worse than i thought.
One more year is what I put and hope it is what happens, personally don`t know if he is a likeable lad or not so that aint my reasoning.
I think Schmidt will end up at one of Nancy or Oostende. Off our wage bill, nominal fee. A bit like Thiam etc. Thomas you might be right about.
Yes , by paying the money on developing some very good striking prospects we have at the club such as Dyer , Marsh & one or two more , we sent out Vic on loan & have spent a long time trying to bring him on , his development days are behind him & also we have Aitcheson who has been getting rave reviews at Forest Green, he has to be brought back & utilised
The only thing I wonder about players going to another ConLee club is whether we're in the process of club disposal. There are a few subtle indicators that may be the case. Unless they essentially got a player for free, that then had value, would they weaken one of their other clubs to benefit the hole they'd got a club they were trying to dispose of? I think the last loan update suggested neither were getting any game time where they were.
The fans seem to like him because the lad is a trier , some times it is best for all concerned to severe ties especially as he has not improved in his time with us or when he has been on loan, maybe a new club might be what he needs to kick on but in my opinion it is time to let him go .
That's fair. The only challenge I would have to that is, with Marsh, Aitchison and Iseka (I've never seen Dyer, so not sure what kind of striker he is), we'd still be lacking any physicality up front, and ability to hold the ball up. Maybe Bremang could add that?
If you cant see any improvement in him in his time with us then its maybe time to stop replying to you on this subject.
