.. not done one for a long time. But this one I'd love to have a response on...... the best acoustic song ever.. No electrics .........this one's easy for me...
Listening to Castle in Space top artist Warring Runcorn. Such a warm broad approach to electronic music
That sounds superb in my man cave!! Just vocals piano and strings. I presume Vincent is just guitar. Which would push my original selection close.
Jimbo - it's plugged in music mate. Warm, like being in the bath. Nice. And a bit socialist chucked in. But I don't think you've got the gist of the thread mate. Acoustic. It's not acoustic.
This is a wonderful rip off of a Nick Drake song - wonderful - I'll let you know which I think it is. Who cares? I'd forgotten about this song.
Good topic. There's a few I like: Cast No Shadow - Oasis. Harmonies between the two brothers are top notch. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty. Three chords all the way through. As music should be. --- And I don't know if this counts, but I really enjoy acoustic versions of electric songs when an artist is singing live. Noel was great at that, and Foo Fighters did a great version of Everlong.
Mardy Bum by the Arctic Monkeys at Glastonbury or T in the Park. Possibly even both. Great example of this. Also when Liam gets the acoustic guitar out at a Courteeners gig.
Bit drawn out but very profeesional. Hope that's not too critical. That dude doing the hard bits can play a guitar!
