Players i would like to see kept to form the spine of a decent league one side

    Collins
Either anderson or helik (i expect at least one will leave)
Kane and also matty wolfe on a new deal
Woodrow ( we would owe fulham 50% of any transfer so hopefully we try keep)
    Morris

Honestly dont care the rest can go for me obviously havent included loans. But i think if we managed to keep these players sell the likes of brittain styles etc to raise a few quid make a few signings a sign a manager instead of a p.e teacher we could do okay.

unfortunately I suspect the ones we want to keep won't stick around. in terms of realistic retentions, I'd say Kane, Wolfe, Walton. obviously I'd want to keep helik, Anderson, collins, Morris, Woodrow, but I genuinely can't see any of em hanging around. the rest can fk off for me. clean slate.

In addition to the above I’d keep, Williams Britain Kitching Victor and Iseka. Also be I Interested to see if Benson can establish himself in L1
I’d like us to keep Vita but I don’t think that’s realistic

Brittain can leave for me all day long. He did a couple of tricks today and then passed back, instead of a simple pass forward which was on. I just keep getting the same feeling he'd rather look individually good, do tricks and turns, rather than the best decision for the team itself. He's done this so, so, so many times. His end product has been awful, and how many silly fouls hes given away in dangerous areas when not needed, and his positioning at times is poor.

Wolfe, Williams & Iseka cos I think there’s a striker there if we get set up right. Anyone else who’s any good will be sold, loans will have gone back and rest are a waste of space.
    Big summer coming….

Difficult to argue with that, the way I'm feeling. Morris and Helik are the only one I'd miss, so they'll probably be the first ones sold.

I’d say Collins and Morris are the only players we have that deserve to be playing in the championship next season. The rest at different points have helped contribute to getting us where we are now, some more than others.

Normally, even such a bad season could lead to some enthusiasm for the reset that would have to follow. Seeing us make more use of the academy. Seeing if we’ll give a chance to the likes of Marsh and ackroyd etc… But it’s difficult to be enthusiastic about anything with this ownership group. Nothing to do with their lack of financial backing, or even them taking money out. It’s just they’re always just around the corner from another calamity

I would try and keep Collins, Helik, Andersen, Woodrow, and Morris. **** the rest of them, discounting the loanees here, I would try to keep them all.

Non of them deserve to be playing in the championship next season, argue Collins and Morris aside.

You wouldn’t think any of the clubs above us would be desperate enough to take any of these players on. Especially if there wasn’t any bids last summer when some of them actually looked half decent.

I think the players have been totally mismanaged this season so I'd be happy to keep as many first teamers as possible and get rid of the fringe and loaned out players plus maybe Helik and Woodrow to bring some money in.

It’s hard to say who will be here and who will be leaving but even though League 1 has some pretty big teams in it (some would say massive), I’d still say the difference between the championship and league 1 is big.

    Walton
    Brittain, Andersen, Kitching, Vita(?)
    Benson, Wolfe, Kane
    Iseka, Morris, Aitchison/new singing?

As I said previously, it’s hard to know what our squad will look like in 4 months but I think the team I have done would be competitive in league 1. I guess we’ll see how the summer goes.

It would be competitive, but I think Khaled would have to play a blinder in the summer to make up for the drop in income, while keeping Brittain, Andersen, Vita and Morris.

Indeed it would be a strong summer.

In my team though I’ve got the sale of Collins, Helik, Styles and Woodrow. We might not keep the players I listed in my team but I’m not sure we’ll also sell them all either. We’re all completely guessing at this point.

Got to be realistic, they aren’t going to sack off young lads under contract who could still come good.

Plenty might think the likes of Kitching, Moon, Benson, Cole & Leya Iseka might never make it but I’d imagine the board will want to keep them all next season as no one would pay much of a fee for any of them in the summer coming.

I think we’ll lose one of the two keepers. Walton got a new deal a while back so we aren’t going to keep two keepers on decent money in league one. If Collins is staying then I’m sure Walton will push for a move.

I can see it been the following post window -

    Collins or Walton
    Brittain
    J. Williams
    Moon
    Kitching
    Benson
    Wolfe
    Kane
    Styles
    Oduor
    Leya Iseka
    Cole
    Adeboyejo

    Maybe’s - Palmer & Morris.

I think Halme will go, I like him but he’s injury prone.

I expect Woodrow, Anderson & Helik to be sold.

I think we’ll release Palmer, he was better today but I feel like he needs a fresh start with the negativity around him.

Morris is the big one. I think he’d be superb in league one. The big factor that could work in our favour is his injury record which might put teams off paying a fee for him. I hope so anyway.

I expect Victor to get a new deal. Obviously not great but decent fitness record & probably valued as a squad player.

I would expect Thomas, Miller & Schmidt to all leave if possible.

Don’t think Styles & Brittain have done enough to earn new deals.

Would leave us needing a keeper, 2 centre backs, 1 or 2 left backs, a centre mid, another wide player & another forward. Unfortunate I don’t think many of these will be first teamers, I think they’ll be squad players. I’d imagine a few of Collins or Walton, Kitching, Styles, Benson, Kane, Morris, Iseka will be on good money & there won’t be much of a wage budget left.

We havent got a player in our first team squad that isnt good enough for league 1 so any players that can stay next season is a bonus but

I would like a more vocal captain to lead the team on the pitch, I think we have to bring this player in as i dont see anyone in our squad that can do this.

Poya i dont want to give someone time to adapt to league 1 football we need a manager who knows and can bring this in to the team immediately.

Physical size and strength is a big thing in league 1 add a bit of quality and you are right up there.

Players like Vita Quina Bassi Gomez Styles Brittain Iseka Moon Oduor Palmer Cole Benson Walton Thomas Schmidt Oulare have all got the quality for league 1 but have they got the physical strength or fitness or fight thats required for league 1

Anderson Helik Kitching Williams Kane Halme Wolfe Woodrow Vic Morris Collins appear to me to have the size fight and quality. Losing any of these would be a big loss for next season.

We would need to sign a leader and some pace in midfield.

The issue isn’t who we want it’s who the club can afford. The last published wage bill was £14.3m and the club lost over £4m. A similar result this season is inevitable.

Relegation means the loss of a further £6m of central distribution money.

Sales of at least £8m and £8m off the wage bill are needed to bring the club back to an even keel.

The club we all support is in a very bad position both on and off the field.
