CEO Questions

1. How many of the 30 teams to get promoted from League 1 to the Championship in the last 10 seasons had UK managers?

(The answer is 29 btw, Daniel Stendel being the only exception).

2. Why was there absolutely no mention of the existence of the court case or the £2.75m in the club's latest accounts? Does this mean that the 80%ers have accepted that if they lose the case the liability for the £2.75m will fall solely to their Hong Kong based company? If not, surely some mention should have been made, even if only as a contingent liability?

3. What is the expected loss for 2021/22 and how is this being financed? Have more loans been taken out and, if so, who from?

4. Is he aware that since signing Tom Trybull to replace Marcel Ritzmaier in the their line-up SV Sandhausen have not lost a 2.Bundesliga game in which Trybull has played?

5. Does he understand how inept he looks and how uninformative he appears to fans that someone in his position and drawing such a hefty six figure salary cannot answer basic/core financial questions and says that Finance is not his strong point? If he has indeed been fortuitously elevated to his current lofty heights without an appropriate grasp of finances why doesn't he at least bring Robert Zuk along too?

6. Does he feel the EFL were more forthcoming in revealing to him Reading's finances after his letter than he is being with his own club's supporters?

Given the absolute circus on the pitch thanks to a rubbish manager & lack of quality players, what you going to do to improve the matchday experience next season? I am not renewing, so what are you going to do & say to help me change my mind?

 

Has there been an offer from Barnsley MBC in the last 12 months for a) the other 50% stake in the Stadium and b) the Club itself?

Yes definitely this, does he realise this isn't the usual drop off in fans when we are relegated but long term hard-core fans who have had enough? How worried is he that this is the case?

Gally what’s the point in asking fans to put questions forward when the puppet on a string will give politicians answers.

Only questions I want him to answer is when is he and the locusts going to f**k off out of our club and how does he feel about taking the money out of working class peoples pockets to pay for their own debts and the absolute sh*t show they have created because they cannot get their mits on the land.

This bloke will not give any proper responses.

It’s a pointless exercise and just a PR stunt because the season ticket renewals are due and these locusts have got their begging bowls out.

2. Given the club face a massive collapse of income, combined with indebtedness from consistent annual losses, if he is still there, and we are relegated, will he take a pay cut in line with the players to show solidarity and to try and minimise the undoubted redundancies that will follow?

Some brutal questions going in for him. I feel quite sorry for him to be honest.

I suspect he took the job expecting it to be very different to what it is. I know friends that have been sold jobs as being this, that and the other and jumped ship, only to find it to be an absolute living hell and needing to move again. I feel that fans' anger needs to be directed at the owners and not someone who has been thrown under the bus for them.

Appreciate it is his job as CEO but I don't believe for one minute he knew what he was letting himself in for.

 

1) On a like for like basis, what does he estimate the squad's resale value to be as a percentage of the equivalent figure in May 2021?

2) How much resale value does he think has been added to the squad via the change of playing style under Schopp and Asbaghi?

3) What does he think are his 3 best achievements in the CEO role to date?
