I've messaged you privately, as is the grown up thing to do, but as you edited this after your initial reply am I ok to comment? Is this not a personal attack, snidey, and lacking in being civil?

Appreciate I've challenged your view and what comes across as a negative crusade against an individual, but I've only ever commented on your opinion and attitude to that stance. As is the nature of a BBS discussion with different viewpoints. I've not said anything about your personality or character, or questioned roles and responsibilities you've had in the past or might have in the future, like you've been quoted as saying here. Can you see the difference? It's pretty stark.

You can let me know in the PM rather than more laundry washing on here. A right to reply is important though when someone does make a personal attack.

Last night's meeting was a non-starter for me due to work, and had no idea if it was available by any other means. My opinions of the current CEO and Board therefore remain negative, Nothing has changed to reassure me. Fellow fans arguing over whether it was a good meeting/ bad meeting doesn't help clarify. Is that my fault that I haven't gone out of my way to find some answers? Is it my responsibility to find a reason to invest in the team I've supported all my life, when every logical answer is no? Or is that the responsibility of the club/ CEO to try harder to engage? Because from where I'm sitting, I'm already disenfranchised, with next season's ST money in my bank account.
If an inaccessible meeting is the tick box done, then so am I.
I've seen nothing in the last 9 months to encourage me to renew. Maybe there's more to come, but I can't see a way back for me. It's all too little, too late, and perfectly timed with renewals. Not this time.

I wish they'd told us that it was available to listen to. I reckon there'd be a lot less Chinese whispers going on if they had

They have been, many times. Such as the one that BFCST led a couple of months back, with Ben and Gally asking the questions.

But last night we had a room full of supporters who decided to take time out of their evening to attend. If we record the whole thing every time, and stick it online, the worry is that people will stop attending them. However, we did record it, and there'll be a condensed video available on club channels in the coming days. It's about finding the right balance.

Once again, thank you to those who did attend.

Let’s be right this isnt the first time he has made himself publicly available through the season. So I think this part of your post is a bit unfair.

He spent a recent home game in the Ponty End. He went on the concourse, assessed the catering setup, sat in a seat alongside supporters, cheered on the team etc. He did that to get a 'feel' for the experience, first-hand. So whilst that's not quite what you're suggesting, he's certainly doing what he can. He has also sat/stood in an away end this season for similar reasons.

Have you considered doing a q&a via the internet? Could be done free of charge on YouTube, Facebook or even tiktok (we really need to utilise tiktok more by the way) and if the club doesn't want to do it live for whatever reason there's always a Reddit AMA

I'm not knocking folk for not attending. It's each to their own. But for each person who didn't go who says "they should be recorded so everyone can see" etc, I get another who did attend who says "what's the point if you stick it online afterwards?".

Difficult balance. I feel we get it right.

But I'm wrong a lot, as you know pal!

Whilst that's worthy of praise, and I can only offer him praise for that, it won't give him the full picture and he really would benefit from experience the entire day as a fan and seeing the obstacles that have been put in our way. Not put there by the club necessarily but still there. I think it's only after he sees them first hand that he'd really realise how much of a ball ache going to Oakwell is and that he needs to push back against restrictions that he may not have realised actually have a bigger impact than he'd expect.
