What a bad piece of business. The last time they went down he got them back up. He deserves a crack at one of the bigger top flight jobs for what he's done.
8 games to go. Madness imho. Sold their star striker to relegation rivals in Jan. Wonder if he'd like to buy a house in Kendray? Not far to commute.
Must admit I’m surprised. Wonder if he wants a challenge next season. (Yes I know there is absolutely no chance he will replace Poya)
Madness. An owner looking at it & thinking ‘we’re struggling so the managers to blame’ rather than backing him. Weghorst aside there’s not a single player in that side who would be classed as premier league quality when signed. Any of the other decent players they’ve got have been developed by him & there weren’t other premier league clubs in for them when they joined Burnley. I don’t know what their wage budget is but I imagine it’s certainly not higher than 18th where they are currently. It’s probably 19th or 20th
Joys of new owners, rumours were circling when they came in about bringing own guy in. He’ll have no trouble getting a new gig.
That a serious question? I’d start the whip round to pay his wages. We could only dream of having someone like him here. He wouldn’t fit the modus operandi though.
3 home games against sides in bottom half and an away game at Watford out of their last 8 games. Yet another stupid decision by owners.
He’s done an absolutely fantastic job during his tenure, given very limited budget in comparison to the rest of the PL. It certainly won’t be long until he’s offered another job.
