Who the hell would want any of our players? If they are that good, how come we are bottom? Nobody came in last season for all these players being touted so why would they now,
$ky-hype raving about rooney and derby, absolutely spunking their pants that the great escape is on, we're 1pt behind them with a game in hand? lets face it, bottom 3 as now are gone but hate the way they fall in love with the cheats, feckin hate $ky tv
I didn't say we would be able to sell 5 or 6 players I said if we did the CEO and Board would think that this season was more of a success than last.
Well after getting lucky in previous relegation battles because of Portsmouth and Wigan having points off, we are finally going down. No doubt most of our first team regulars will get offers from other Championship clubs but for most of them I don't know how.
Humiliating. We are a joke on and off the pitch and anyone who continues to support this shambles of an ownership is no better than the Charlatans who have brought us to this state of affairs. You are the equivalent of those who continue to vote Tory despite the omnishambles of a Govt we have. Just f**k right off and take Conway with you.
Out of order that for me. I get the anger, we’re all angry, but having a go at fans for supporting the Club they love is outta line IMO.
This is just utterly wrong. What about the old bloke who gets to the game once a fortnight and that’s his main human interaction. The people who go to see their friends and family. People who just want to go and support Barnsley. What you are saying here is basically **** Barnsley supporters. Well done mate, that’ll get everyone onside.
Thanks for your interpretation of what I said, but I’m not looking for your agreement or your support. Let me put it more simply for you. You support these owners? Then you are a part of the problem.
If you meant people supporting the owners and not those who continue going to watch, then fair enough. That’s not how it comes across though. I doubt there are many fans, if any at all, who support the owners.
That’s exactly what I meant, I thought that was clear in my post. I wish I had your faith that there aren’t many who support this regime. We’ll no doubt see if that’s the case if we have a modicum of success in Tier 3. My guess is that quite a few will then think ‘everything is rosy’ in the garden’ until they are proved wrong……..again. IMO, this Club can’t progress in any meaningful way until the current regime have packed their bags and left. Everything else is subservient to achieving that goal.
So you are happy for ALL supporters to stop attending games and supporting the club ? Will you be equally as happy then if the club ceased to exist?
You can't divorce supporting this club from supporting these owners. As we've seen with the instalment payments, the money goes straight in their pockets (or pays for their "purchase"). For many, the club has already ceased to exist. It's a question of whether it can be brought back to life with a different custodianship that has the true future of the club and supporters at heart.
