....along with a number of Cabinet members and military personnel, Russia has banned him from the country due to his 'hostile stance' over Ukraine. Now I know that some on here will respond with, 'if only we in the UK could do the same, but joking apart, it has to be said, given it is unlikely in the extreme that anyone from Western European Governments would choose, for example, to holiday in Russia, or conduct any business there it is meaningless sanction. It smells of a desperation to respond to sanctions taken against Russia in some way. This 'Tit for tat' mentality of Russia taking measures like expelling diplomats (who were probably already on the point of being withdrawn by their respective Governments ) is pretty comedic IMO. The Politburo are living in 'cloud cuckoo land' if they think any Govts impacted give a sh*t about these measures considering they simply isolate Russia even further from the Rest of the World. One can only assume it is for domestic consumption and the State run media that they did this.
