I can see us ending up with this lot left, from the current squad:

    Walton

    Williams, Moon, Andersen, Kitching, Halme

    Benson, Wolfe, Kane

    Woodrow, Thomas, Adeboyejo, Cole

I think Halme could be great in League 1, I’d like to see him get a proper crack at it with Mads/ Kitching. I’d keep Victor too, for a squad option. I’d like to see Winfield and Marsh involved a bit more too.

No chance of us landing Quina or Bassi. Possibly Vita..? Or Gomes..? Not sure if we’d want him or not. He’s not that bad but we need a new midfield.

I think we’ll sell Morris, Helik, Styles, Collins, Iseka and Brittain. Palmer allowed to leave. Find somewhere for Oduor to play regularly. We’ll try to offload Cole but struggle. Who knows on Schmidt, Oulare, Aitchison.

This all leaves us needing a GK, a LB, two midfielders and two forwards, minimum. Probably another full back and CB too. Lots to do, with no money to do it!

Halme is another sick note,I’d rather play one of our under23’s than Victor he’s had more than a fair chance, lots of rebuilding to do.Mad’s will be flogged and so will Woodrow.

Yeah I suppose Hondermarck will still be a squad option. I’d expect ICD to leave.

If we can play 13 players, then we have a chance in L1.

I'll be amazed if Woodrow is still here in August...

but not if Cole is one of them, that means two other players have to work twice as hard.....:)

I'd like the Italian team from 1982, please.

I like the Barnsley team from 1997, a great blend of youth and experience.

They’ll be getting on a bit now. No resale value.

Halme would get in the most injured eleven and that’s about it.

Let us take the absolute worst case scenario where our squad is threadbare from losing all four loans, not giving new contracts to those out of contract (Victor & Palmer), sell every single person BBSers have said would be sold and Conman decides we are not bringing in even one new player to replace everyone.

Even then a squad next season of Walton, Moon, Kitching, Hondermarck, Williams, Benson, Kane, Wolfe, Thomas, Iseka and Cole should be more than good enough to do OK at that level. People worry we will be asset stripped and be in another relegation battle but I don't see that happening.

Depends on the manager imo, and getting the team spirit going. Think it was lacking until our Jan loans rocked up.
