You may be right but we bought tickets in the only stand that is suitable for my Dad. If they decide to close the west again I would want a refund this time not just a relocation- in any case they have to keep the west open for Media unless they want to spend money to relocate so we will see.

I don't think they will shut it again as it would be a PR nightmare on top of everything else. I suppose time will tell, if crowds dropped and stayed low something would have to give.

It’s just how we are run in a nutshell. Wife hadn’t been to Oakwell since start of Covid and she said it’s like they have given up. Kids fanzone empty with nothing put out - kids pictures on wall in upper east got pics kids have coloured in one of them being Dani Pinillos who left us in 2020. Can’t even get basic stuff sorted.

Nine days to go and it’s still not available. Even if it were to be ready tomorrow, that gives the people with the least financial security only a week to get everything in place. It’s disgusting. How many people will have caved and overstretched themselves to pay upfront out of uncertainty and worry? 20 days they’ve had of having to check every day to see if it’s set up and watching the days slip away.

It's becoming a running theme at most levels. How our players play, how our coaches coach, how how executives execute.

Just get the basics right first and foremost.

Surely something along the lines of "we know this is unacceptable and we apologise. The early bird deadline will now be extended until the end of May as we endeavour to get the system up and running, further updates will follow and thank you for your continued patience"

Or is it just me that expects good customer service when parting with hundreds of pounds?

Had a reply to my email apparently Klarna option not happening now but the company doing the 10 month finance option will be doing the 3 month interest free one too but will take a week to set up but will be available before early bird ends

If it takes a week it’ll be 2 days before early bird ends. They’re not even making it public knowledge so people know they have to apply on these specific two days and can stop wasting their time checking it every day now.

Yesterday afternoon I renewed for the family wife,daughter,father-in-law, me and got a car park pass( father-in-law is 86 and bad on his legs) £2 charge each for new card thats £10 extra. Ever since I bought my first ticket for 1981/82 season I have never been charged for the physical ticket Grand total £1230 but if it stops Beth, vicky and the back room staff from loosing their jobs in the Summer then that is our glimmer of hope. Love Barnsley FC......HATE PMG!!!
