    Back in the Championship.

With so many super confident we’ll drop even lower I’m happy to be given odds on us getting back within three years.

If things don't change and we drop into lg 2 then the younguns from the area will be looking ( even more than now) at the sheffield clubs and Leeds to support, we could lose a generation of supporters, I hope I'm way off the mark, but geographically we are and have always been up against it, even more so if we plummet again

Most young'uns are there for the buzz of seeing a live game. They go where their parents take them. It's only later they realise the club might be full of 5hit and pick up on the politics. I wouldn't be too worried about that niche in the market.

I can only speak for myself but my first kit was a Leeds kit. Then I was bought an Arsenal kit, followed by a Spurs one. My point is my Dad took me to Oakwell because there was no realistic chance of me watching Tottenham or Arsenal and living in Pontefract the risk was too great of the whole Leeds thing sticking.

I caught the bug and have remained loyal to Barnsley F.C ever since. What I'm trying to say is kids will always migrate towards the bigger clubs and players but watch their bread and butter clubs in the flesh.

I hope you're right mate, Royston where I'm from is 4 miles from Town and about 20 miles give or take from Leeds, the village is probably split 50/50, makes my teeth itch.

Doesn’t quite describe ‘stability in the championship’ does it!

It's impossible to say. We're going down in worse shakes than last time, but nowhere near as bad as in 2002.

But it depends on whether the board start to right their wrongs, or whether their level of mismanagement steps up another gear.

If they make up the shortfall and make some signings early in the window last season will just be another memory. Based on last time we were relegated I'd have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think the problem now is the amount of opportunity there is to be an armchair fan. Pre-Premier League, there was maybe one game on a Sunday and then Sky cornered the market for all live coverage bar the FA Cup. But now, with streaming, there's not many games that you can't watch at home, if you really want to.

L2 is a distinct possibility ,if we don't review our strategy.

I started watching in early Iley days.

Thought about renewing, but will be match by match next season, as I have little faith in the ownership at this stage.

I'm always a glass half full person. I think that has kept me in business for over 25 years, as you never know what is around the corner. Always like to be surprised if things end up better than expected.
