Called in there yesterday and was pleasantly surprised with what they have on the shelf. Can't recall them all but for example there were Acorn beers, Wold Top beers, York beers, and one I've never heard of that I'm currently enjoying, Innis and Gunn, whisky cask matured scottish beer, 660ml bottle at 6.6%. There's nothing like these in the Gainsborough shop, do they do local ales in the Barnsley area shop?
Yeah Morrisons have a decent selection of craft ale, at least the one in Sheffield where I am has anyway.
Morrisons in Wetherby do all the beers you mention plus a very nice beer from Kirkstall Brewery called "Dissolution". Innis & Gunn is, I believe, a brand owned by William Grant's, the privately owned whisky company (brands: Grants, Glenfiddich, Sailor Jerry rum, Three Barrels brandy, Hendrick's Gin, The Balvenie, Drambuie etc). I don't think they actually brew the Innis & Gunn but it's definitely their creation (uses their whisky barrels).
Morissons at Cortonwood has a very decent selection, usually have some 8 for 10 deals on 330ml cans too.
