We're coming into the peak time for waivering now, just ahead of the early bird deadline (although I fully expect it to be extended).

This was the time when I feared I'd be emotionally torn at breaking the cycle of the last 27 years. How wrong I was. To date, they're making it easy for me and, if anything, I'm becoming more hardened to the thought that my decision not to renew is in the best interests of the club in the long-term.

For clarity, this isn't a criticism of those choosing to do otherwise. The decision is entirely personal for everyone, for a myriad of reasons.

There'll probably be 7000 to 8000 ST sold as per usual. People will go or they wont, it doesn't really matter, it's not obligatory and people are going to have a harder than normal financial year.

All it means is the staff from the snack bars in the Ponty are helping and the queue started Monday and only 3 have been served and they ran out of paper

Maybe the club ought to do a ST cashout type option. You pay £350 for your ST for instance and depending on where we are in the league you can cash out for a refund of sorts.

Its an interesting one isn’t it. Ive never heard so many people say they are not going to renew. People who have never missed a season for years and thats very sad indeed. BUT I do wonder how much of reading forums and groups like this with vociferous anti-board feelings means we exist in a negative echo chamber. The Conway out campaign sort of suffered from this. They only wanted to hear their own opinion and convinced them self 1500 people had the same one as them. The didn’t though. There were wide ranging opinions from the silent majority and hence they got little traction.
Could this be the same? (Not saying it will just wondering if we get a good feel on here or from social media?)

The difference on finances of 4000 season tickets equates to about £1m.

Clearly fans renewing helps the club and revenue streams but the impact is relatively modest when compared to the £6m loss from central distribution payments and the expected losses of around £4m this current year.

Fans choosing to renew or not renew will not determine the fate of the club, however, the owner’s abject failure at running the club will.

We will probably lose a few due to cost of living situation but as ive said before the disappointment fades as it did 2018/19 (Oxford 4-0) 12,800 opening day and for every one on here who is not renewing their will be hundred who will.Same as the Conway out protest.

I can only speak for people I know. None of the 5 I go with are renewing. More widely of about 20 folks I know outside the BBS who are season ticket holders 4 defintely are 10 definitely not and 6 not sure either way.

A big factor why investors see football as attractive is the monetisation of loyalty.

True. And the big bonus is they don't have to offer anything back in return. As we can see.

I see the easy payment options are still not live and it's unlikely that will change now until Monday at the earliest, which will be day 19 of the 23 day window. I've emailed Mr 99.9% twice about the situation and extending the early bird but I've not had a reply.

Someone will comment if I'm wrong but I think he said as much during one of his Q & A sessions. Something like: letters always get read so that's the best way to communicate to us. The wording of it seemed to imply that emails sometimes don't. I agree btw - wow :(

    I think 6-7k seems about right. But let's not forget, that's a 30-40% reduction. That's a lot.
