    You might be right I think Hodgkinson's other business interests went belly up. Dean Hoyle sold up originally because he had health issues. One thing that can't be denied is he's a life long Town fan who cares for the club more than PMG care about Barnsley.

    Well they have certainly done better as a club than we have. Pmg swallowed up our club for nothing and paying for it with its own money ie £750,000

    He probably sold at the peak price and bought back at a good price . Always liked him since he did that bike ride and raised a million or so for air ambulance though

    Huddersfield were in a very **** state financially last October and if Dean Hoyle hadn't stepped back in to take the reigns from skint Phil then they'd have been looking at admin.
    Phil Hodgkinson previously owned Southport and bought town with the parachute money, he was a chancer and it was only going to end one way!
