I've just been to my dentist and she recommended I have 2 tooth implants, I have 2 false teeth and asked about a bridge but she said implants would be better, any advice would be most welcome.
Yes, I had 4, 6years ago at the age of 65 it does hurt, not the drilling into the bone but with the gadget they use to keep your gob open, and it hurts the bank book it cost me something like £13 grand I now smile with confidence, and glad I had them done.
Yes, I've got a single one up top and a row of 4 below. They're not cheap, you'll be talking thousands, but they work very well. Before I had the top one I had a gap, which made the letter "s" sound like "th". It wath motht embarrathing, tho I thuggetht you thhould do it. Hope itth a thuctheth.
I was unlucky enough to have implants and a gap. When the first Mrs T found out about my affair, she implanted her teeth in my todger and gave me a gap between my front teeth, the size of the gap? My right front was in my mouth and the left was just in front of the kitchen door!
I have one at the front. Funnily enough done by dentist in Dalton, Huddersfield. Cost £3-4k. The drilling into the jaw is not a great experience and then there’s a few weeks of waiting while it settles down before the implant is fitted. Been solid though for last 15 years or so. Find a good specialist to do the work.
I had one - not cheap but I'd recommend it. A lot depends on the bone in your jaw because they'll be drilling in to it and it will need to be in good nick. It's a long winded procedure as the implant needs to bind to the bone in the jaw and that can take weeks. The surgery was done in Horbury. https://www.horburydentalcare.co.uk/our-practice/meet-the-team/
I thought about it but I needed a bone graft to strengthen the bone in my gums and that’s a bit hit or miss. So I didn’t bother.
https://www.smileclinic.sk/en/dental-clinics/amp/ two family members been here , a lot cheaper than UK and both couldn’t praise them enough
He ain't taking the piss mate. At £3250 per tooth, I'd be happier with a past vanity goofy grin in my pensionable age.
Could have been more but I thought it was money well spent as I have got a nice smile and don't have to try to talk to anyone without opening my gob suppose some take pride in their looks and some don't.
