Who is actually responsible for making the decision to replace the head coach or not ? Will it be the owners / board or Mr 99.9%
Mr 99.9% as he’s apparently running the club now. Can’t wait for the puppet’s statement of some sort this next week.
As far as I see it, our CEO has made decisions that he believes are correct. He seems like a nice guy and I do believe he thinks he doing his best for the club but the reality is that he’s got a lot wrong. The very least he could do is listen to the fans for once and give us a manager. Not a head coach but a manager who makes the decisions. We can only hope.
No chance of that happening. He can't make that decision for a start. I've got no problem with him. Just the owners, it is really simple.
Not sure why there’s a call for a manager instead of a head coach. As long as the head coach gives input into what sort of player is needed, it’s fine. I doubt Ismael knew a great deal about Dike and Morris for example. But the recruitment team recruited based on the coach’s requirements.
But we know who we can thank for that. Spending all the money in the summer, without using any input from the usual recruitment team which left us potless in January.
From what Khaled has repeated a few times there’s an interview process that he leads and one of the stages is with the board - which I think is James and Paul. They approve his recommendation I think. Unless you’re talking about Summer 2022 where there was no process and Uncle Paul just picked a Head Coach based on his immense and extensive knowledge of European Football.
for the first time ever, the coach will be chosen from list of likely candidates by a poll of the members on the BBS , a majority decision of 75% will be accepted, voting to take place first week of May, result expected end of May (2026)
