    Was a cracking game that one end to end stuff. Fond memories of Hendrie, but it has to be Ashley Ward for me. Great at shielding ball facing our goal turning or holding ball up from goal kicks and laying the ball off. Complete forward as someone has already said. Sadly it shows how far we have fallen since the glory days. Hendrie, De Zeeuw, Payton, Redfearn, Moses, Eadon, Watson Bullock any one of which would have walked into our team over the last several years.

    I initially voted for Taylor but as I never saw him play and there is little footage of his performances I changed to someone from my era.

    you are right about the Ward injury. He then went on a proper spree. 13 in 14 or something like that.
