Is that in the east stand ST?

Nothing in the Ponte, and 2 pint cups.

Yes. Flatbreads are off, barriers are everywhere, shutters down and pies sat cooking on their own

I’m not being funny, but never in 40 years have I ever wanted to but anything to eat at the ground. I once wanted a bottle of water because it was an extremely hot day. I can’t think why anyone would bother. It’s crap food/drink and always has been.

It doesn't have to be. It really doesn't have to be. That you have this opinion just shows how f*****g s**t our club is. We should want to go down to the ground and eat local fare, drink local beers. We've been run appallingly for years, much of it by someone who people continue to claim was our saviour but is the only person to ever take money out of our club and his family is still there. Makes me sick.

Lots of people travel to matches though, and on an evening it's often straight after work. It's understandable that people might want something to eat before watching an entire match and then driving home again. Cinemas sell crap food at extortionate prices but it'd still look crap if they ran out of popcorn every single day, served slowly so you missed the start of your film and never had half of the stuff advertised. It doesn't matter why people may or may not want it, the expectation is that football clubs serve food and drink, that's what BFC has signs up advertising and that's what they should do.

I have travelled to matches from work/ home every time. Somehow I manage to eat/ drink what I need outside the 90 -120 minutes at Oakwell so I don’t need to queue, eat crap food and pay over the odds for it. I’m not quite sure how I’ve done it though.

    Absolutely.
If it was good I’d be all over it. I feel bad for the Redfearns guys because they got it to a point where it was decent... and had it taken away.

Haha- it’s been a heroic effort.

My point is, we all know the situation - the service is shocking - so why even try to access it?

Wasn't criticising you, was criticising the state of the bloody club that has a fan (and you're far from alone) thinking this way. It's appalling how our club has been run.

I used to like Redfearn's. Decent priced drink and friendly atmosphere.

If you want an idea of what can be achieved, food-wise, at football grounds, follow @FootyScran on that Twitter. Some amazing stuff.
