    Gomes always LOOKED like he could be a good player but too lightweight at this level. With experience he’ll maybe develop but it’s a shame we felt the need to develop him on behalf of City when we really needed a proper experienced player in there

    I reckon all three players tried. Quina often showboated, which annoyed me to death, but still tried. They looked better than most of our players, but there's the rub: These three lads are nowhere near Championship quality and yet they were still better than what we'd got.

    That lap of honour was a joke. Flowers and a standing ovation, yeah they had a good few moments- Bassi and Domingos more than Claudio but my god... We've been relegated, a side in which all three have been ever present since January
