Whoever is in charge of the refreshments needs a seat booking on the plane at the side of poya …I felt bad for the two girls east stand upper (pontefract side) tonight because they obv haven’t been trained to do their job…I had to tell them how to make a cheese burger, she gave me an hotdog bun with a burger in (no cheese)!!! Another guy had to stop her putting milk in bovrill!!! I asked for red sauce….she went away and came back and asked “red sauce is ketchup isn’t it”….by this time the Q was well passed the toilets!!! I felt robbed paying £4:20 for the poor excuse of a burger. Im taking a pork pie and a bag of cheese and onion crisps on Saturday.
Clearly she had been dropped in it, but you dont need to have worked a fast food joint to know the component parts of a burger surely? Or that red sauce is ketchup? I went to Yorkshire Wildlife park a couple of weeks ago and was behind 2 grown adults, both with a toddler, as we walked past the lions. One (of the adults) turned to the other and said "so, is a lion a cat or a dog, or a bit of both?" I wonder how some people make it through life when they are so uneducated.
All they need is to implement an app collection service and hey presto would cut the queue down instantly but for whatever reason no one seems to be able to improve things on the catering front at Oakwell and it’s laughable tbh.
Ye I was in the East Upper queue 20 mins before kick off and still missed the start...where were the usual staff ???...I got 3 coffee's and asked if they had milk . the lass said ye in the fridge ...but never offered to get me any.
Always take my own. I object to paying high prices for poor products and standing in a long queue to get it. Why risk missing a goal or some top quality early action just to get a burger? Oh, hang on. Are we talking about Oakwell?
