Judging on last nights crowd and performance if you'd turned up at three you wouldn't have known any different.
Stadium announcement at end of match..... "Please don't all go home." Instead of the customary... "Please don't run on the pitch"
could be lowest ever actual attendance for a game at home in the champ on Saturday - none of that wrap the season ticket sales in... 4-5k
Think this could be the one time the players outnumber the numpties who run on the pitch at the end of the game!
Or alternatively.... "If anyone is available to play, can you please run on the pitch before the game"
I've been checking the last 30 years and 3659 v Southend in October 1994 is the lowest attendance I've found for a 2nd tier game
They've sold out the away end I think as it's their gentry day. Thats the reason for the kick off time. They'll probably have more fans there than us.
Didn't know Preston had sold out. Definitely more away fans than us Saturday then. Blackpool didn't do too bad yesterday mind, I was surprised at their turn out
lol the Preston takeover Oakwell day. Conways outdone himself this year finishing up the season with more away fans than home fans.
They they’ve got an allocation of 3k and Preston have laid on subsidised coaches for £7, reckon they’ll sell most of their tickets. Going to be a proper embarrassment.
rotten swine ! could have got to 3pm on Sat, and realised ( thankfully ) it was all over! Now I’ll be sat with the telly control wondering if I can resist pressing the red button!
