Instead of criticising every head coach and getting on at players on the pitch its time to concentrate on your own performances. Glass houses and stones spring to mind.

Can’t believe how bad he’s been this season. One of the most dangerous full backs last season in the league in terms of finding space in the attacking third yet has been atrocious this season. The lad can’t cross for **** and we know that but everything else has gone out the window as well.

It's been so strange how far he's fallen - same goes for Styles really. These two were so dangerous last season when going forward, and they had the discipline and drive to get back and defend too.

    What's gone wrong?

Moving Styles to central midfield clearly didn't work, as I don't think he's got the skillset to take the ball on the half term from the defenders. We then changed to a back 4, which didn't suit him either.

As for Brittain? God knows. Played in his preferred position for most of the season. Hasn't really had any issues with injuries - although covid may have affected him more than we know.

He does need to keep his mouth shut though. When he's playing like Cancelo, then he can say what he likes. But he needs to read the room.

Last night made me laugh moon had time but bangs the ball out for a Blackpool throw. Brittain made him know he should have tried to play the ball then about 30 seconds later brittain gets it loads of time and passes straight to a blackpool player in their attacking 3rd.

Drives me mad at times Brittain when he belittles other players for not giving him the ball accurately when he’s barely completed a pass this season

I think we should remember that MK Dons fans weren’t that arsed when we signed him as he wasn’t their first choice right back anyway. So I think he probably did well in a team better than the sum of its parts last season and perhaps now fallen back to his usual level in a crap team.

I'm glad the players are finally getting it in the neck. they've been getting away with criticism for months.

Certain ones have been getting it all season the scapegoats. While others have been living off last seasons performances.

I agree with you but the thing that gets me with Brittain is we know he can do it

Do we really? He performed reasonably well under Val's style (with others also high pressing where his skill set didn't come under too much scrutiny) I will give you that but he doesn't seem able to perform any other way.

No worse than Woodrow for waving his arms about.
I bet the changing room is an interesting place after the games.

Woodrow’s body language is awful. I’ve always found players do better when they’re been encouraged not ridiculed

Probably true but when Woodrow first arrived he had the Barnsley fans in the palm of his hands. But long story short he got his place and still does, too easily

Is that not the case with pretty much every signing though? As a quick example, we had fans on here that weren’t arsed that Mowatt was leaving. That turned out really well…

I said on here from early on this season when we were doing ok that he was a waste of space. One of the laziest players I've seen at Oakwell and his attitude is dreadful. I have no idea why Sibbick was booted out of the club ahead of him; in fact, I know full well why Sibbick was gotten rid of.

I`ve criticized both Callums this season and rightly so but saw a couple of decent passes that took defenders out of the equation last night so it aint as though every pass he makes goes to an opponent.

Still he is number one on the hitlist at the moment only because Palmer didn`t play and he keeps opening his yap which dunt help.

Thought Styles actually played well enough second haif for me to give him MoM.

I actually thought that particularly in the second half last night he was our best player, he was the only one trying to drive forwards but alas he is like a lot of others this season & under performed although I do think to a certain extent he has been messed about playing here there & everywhere from a pair of clueless coaches .
