    A player will always be in line for fan abuse if they go into 50/50 tackles with the same commitment that Brittain does.

    Mowatt was our first choice on the team sheet. Brittain wasn’t even first choice full back at MK Dons.

    Pretty sure Brittain played a decent chunk of MK Dons’ games the season before. But that wasn’t the point I was making. Whenever a player leaves a club, you get fans on social media saying “he wasn’t that good anyway” or similar phrases.

    I thought that last season he was one of the best wing backs in the championship & I can never get to grips with changing a players position when he plays so well in an established role , the old saying "if it aint broke then don"t fix it " , when Mowatt was leaving there was quite a clammer from some of the fan base saying he was a natural to play Mowatts role however after Mowatts replacement Benson was clearly struggling & Gomez was more defensive then Styles was tried there & he was not suited but instead of using him where he clearly excelled he has been shoved everywhere else on the pitch & has clearly struggled but he has not been on his own on that front. Last night was a very poor show from the reds , we were second best but I say it as I see it & I thought Styles was the only player in a red shirt that had a go ,especially in the second half, he kept trying to drive the team forward but to no avail & we virtually offered nothing going forward .

    I disagree. He wasn't very good last season at defending or actually at attacking. He's just a workhorse who will run up and down that wing all day long and will pass the ball back and forth just like styles was last season.

    The problem is that after changing tactics both of their defensive fragilities have become all too obvious but also so have their attacking limitations.

    The comments about him being on the bench weren’t even true. He started seven games in a month prior to signing for us and 30+ the season before.

    No, scratched mi heead cant remember this purple patch, can remember 2 newbies winning us a coupla games before coach knocked that art of em.

    Do we now class winning a game of football as a outstanding achievement.
