    Get fast track through security or get there very early , queueing through the entrance doors for security check , never seen it as bad as this morning

    We went through Leeds Bradford last week (Tuesday). Took 1.5 hours to get through security. Utter shambles. Arrived in Malaga, straight through Passport Control and COVID clearance in a couple of minutes. I wonder what awaits us on the way back…

    Same here. I flew out of LBA beginning of last week and the queue was one hour from going through the door to passing security. Luckily I had allowed plenty of time. Having said that though Ryanair then added their own brand of irritation by getting us all boarded but then not taking off for TWO HOURS because of some baggage loading problem. Absolutely appalling organisation - the airport I mean but I’ve no love for Ryanair either.

    Seems to be a bit random. I suppose there’s no uniformity in staffing levels. Some good, some bad. I’ve been through LBA loads of times in the last three years and never had a problem until recently.

    I can also recommend Humberside, if one of the roughly three flights a day take you where you need to be.
