Only team in the prem I can be bothered to watch. Character of a coach too. Really don’t understand the bitterness some hold for them.
I don’t like the club but can’t help but be impressed by their manager, players and tactics. Treble will be their minimum. I think they could well get the quadruple.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we see a repeat of the title race a few years ago, and both City and Liverpool win every game, and city win the league by a point.
Nothing against the team but the media love in with the fans really gets on my t#ts, where this myth about them being extra fantastic lovely knowledgeable fans comes from I don’t know. They sing when they're winning, have the same faults as other fans and used have more than their fair share of scum outside the ground ( that's from personal experience although granted I've not been for a long time now )
I find with the Geordies its more about how they stick with their teams though, IMHO they don't hold any teams fans as the same paragons of virtue that they do the Liverpool fans
Definitely. Will probably be more interesting if City drop points in one of the next few games, and we see how Liverpool deal with the pressure then. Found it strange to hear the BT sport presenter claim that they are on the verge of the quadruple though, given the league isn't in their hands. Like saying Huddersfield are on the verge of top 2.
I wouldn't like to comment on which is most likely out of Liverpool winning the quadruple, Hudds finishing 2nd or us ending up in League 2.
Have to doff my cap to their fans for the support they showed to Ronaldo last week. That was a class act imo. Klopp, i find, is very likeable. Team he's put together are exciting! What's not to like?
Can't stand them as a club or a fanbase but they're a brilliant side and the brand of football is great to watch.
If our players were half as fit and pressed half as well we wouldn't have been relegated regardless of ability
