Assume this is the same competition that the club's players get entered into every week?

Except supporters who still can’t renew due to the finance packages still not being available aren’t eligible currently to enter.

I'm still waiting for my call. I'm definitely not athletic any more, but it would be a dream come true to grace the Oakwell pitch.

Credit to the Media Team for their timing in putting this out now. Obviously it would get hammered. I'd like to think this was part of a fifth columnist campaign aimed at the Ownership. Being shouted at is one thing but when people are either laughing or just taking the pi$$ - you know you're in trouble.

    Abso-bloomin-lutely.

I honestly can't believe there isn't outrage about this.

For the management and supporter group of a club based in a community with longstanding socialist principles including equality, inclusivity and fairness of opportunity it just seems so weird and depressing that people seem willing to just passively accept the total exclusion of fans who need to use finance from all these so-called 'rewards'.

If Johnson and Sunak had come up with a policy like this they'd have been rightly called out for it.

I’m guessing it’s a logistical problem. The event is just over a week away, before the pitch will be relaid. They need to organise it now unfortunately or not do it.

I can understand that if so but they could have just offered it to all existing ST holders. On the wider point though, it's not just this, it's the weekly £135 x 8 refund draws and things as well. They could have left all the draws until the early bird period has closed (assuming they do eventually get the finance options up before it closes!)

Fingers crossed - I'd LOVE to be involved in this and better still if my lad is... 8th May is his birthday and what a present that would be for him to play on Oakwell!!!!!

I get that but the tickets have been on sale for 3 weeks and they have made no provisions for fans affected by this issue. Just another way to erode supporters faith in the club.
