The zero crossings clearly don’t include the number of ‘pushbacks’ by armed Royal Navy frigates.

I mean imagine celebrating that… your armed forces frightening desperate people with nothing, to turn around in a dinghy mid channel. What a country we are.

A pretty good rule of thumb is anything Rod Liddle says in the Sun is good is almost certainly the exact opposite. And there are several lies in his post. Not least that the majority supports the Rwanda idea, unless he meant a majority of Sun “readers” or that people haven’t suggested alternatives

You're an utter cretin. Even Farage recognises that it's due to weather conditions rather than a response to the change in laws.

Absolutely bizarre that so many people who didnt want any form of inbound migration 12 months ago and wanted our borders closing are now calling for a loosening of immigration rules. Whilst as a left leaning liberal i welcome this about change in their stance, i think it's utterly bizarre how standards have changed in just one short year.

The true liberals amonst us have always welcomed inbound migration. Very strange that people who acted like racist zealots 12 months ago ('who knows what they will bring in, close the borders indefinitely') who, because of their inherent racism and fear of an inconsequential illness were scared of foreigners now want to look super welcoming only 12 short months later.

If anyone cant see that this attitude to inbound immigration isnt a direct consequence of lockdown approving attitudes then Jesus, i can't help you.

Judging by the time you've posted, i know you've probably had a skinful and are on the wind up, but that "inconsequential illness" killed my Dad. It also killed thousand of others. Its nearly killed the wife of a poster on here who is thankfully on the mend.

    So basically, go **** yourself.

I don't think he is on the wind up. He could lose his keys and it'd be due to lockdown supporters.

It isn't even as though "lockdown supporters" is or was a thing either. Some thought it was necessary and some didn't... none other than businesses that profited "wanted" lockdowns in the same sense that nobody wants a vet to have to euthanise their pet when it is old and in pain.

Like i said, wish he'd just accept that people have different views instead of being so disrespectful to people that have lost loved ones from it.

There is absolutely nothing to gain from this other than looking like a total dick.
