Played alright first half. Completely ran out of steam in the second, as they always do. The least physically fit professional football team I've ever watched. As bad as the owners are, and the managers have been, and the players have been, there has to be serious questions about the coaching staff as our players simply cannot last more than 55 minutes. There's something seriously wrong.

Awful. Simply dreadful. Appreciate the lack of quality but there’s no excuse for a lack of effort.

Well that was a fitting end to our Oakwell efforts this season.

Easily beaten with not enough effort, quality, shape or idea against a backdrop of many empty seats.

Nice to see a few kids, but it feels unfair to throw them into a losing apathetic environment.

Definitely not on today's showing. Although he was played out if position against a very good winger in Johnson. Its always baffled me why he's never ended up at a bigger club than Preston.

The shape of the team these last 2 games has been non existent, Preston are an average side who could have had 6 goals today without breaking sweat, lost count how many times one pass takes our whole defense out

Looks like they've all been striving to achieve our captains fitness levels.

That second half was dire and boring.

Walton probably my man of match.

We've never won a game after going behind. That is for sure.

I thought we did OK, given it was an under 23's team against some proper pro's.

A few decent performances, two of which were debutants in a failing team. (Marsh & Sraha), who did OK, given they had to make their debuts this season. The referee was ****. I thought Disco set the team up well TBH.

The reason we are in the state we are in is down to Conway & PMG.

Who were we going to bring off the bench? Woodrow? There you go. Could not kick his way out of a paper bag at the moment. Clearly in the past that was not the case. At the moment we don't have a first team, never mind a bench. We must have 10 players who are "injured", i'e. cannot be arsed largely to play for this **** house team we are sadly fans of.

If he's failed to get and keep them fit them we do need better. I will don't quite understand how come they've not managed to catch up all season though.

I agree. And we can't really moan too much about the ref cos Kitching got away with murder first half! It's nice to see the youngsters given a chance and at least we showed attacking intent for.a change.

I think given the respective line ups it was as much as I could have hoped for.

I thought 1-5 was likely TBH.

Needs now some actual review of where we are going. PMG seem to have no clue. If we start next season with a similar team I think we will be bottom half of the table. Not renewing for those reasons.

I was being facetious. For whatever reason it's been decided he's a fantastic player and there's this big conspiracy against him. Reality is, he's not all that good and the better players in the squad have been selected ahead of him. That they're also not all that good gives a good indication of just how not all that good Hondermarck is.

I think a poor attitude amongst the players set in between Val going and Schopp being appointed , the staff new they were going and let the players piss about for 3 weeks, the new guys never gained any traction with the players and it’s carried on all season . Young players need direction and discipline from coaches and senior players , which appears to have been nonexistent

The time to get the players fit is pre-season not once your into the Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday merry-go-round, that’s why so many players who are injured at the start of a season seem to take so I long to get back to game level. Even then you can take the individual and devise a pure fitness regime during the season, you can’t do that with the entire squad as they have to be working on tactics, etc. the pre-season mess curtesy of our head clown Conway is what knacked the whole thing.
