Doesn't t his name always crop up on every list ever time and he's crap everywhere (might be thinking of someone else)
If he's the best we can get, we're definitely gunna struggle next season. Awful manager, don't like him at all as a bloke either (not that that would effect my decision if I were in charge!)
Id rather we go for some unkown forign coach who has never been to england before and used to coaching in leagues so poor there the equivalent to the English confrance with less than a 1k fans turning up to watch.
Not on any account. But beyond that, why do we post these "would anyone be up for..." threads every time the Head Coach role becomes vacant? We know from experience that we can posit any number of reasonable candidates, but our owners will parachute in Herbert Knopfellganger from RB Potsdam U23's because he "likes to play our preferred system" and also because he is really the coach we wanted last time, and the time before that, and "has always been top of our list". In reality, Herbert will know next to nothing about the Championship League One, but will be prepared to work for nowt a yard with the hope of establishing him/herself in the English football pyramid. Two relegations in under five years, and another one avoided only due to others' points deductions. And yet we will peresevere with this approach because it involves our owners' preferred level of investment. I.e. None. Folks, it is all a waste of time until this lot are gone.
Over some unknown u23 coach from somewhere like Azerbaijan it’s an overwhelming yes. No more unknown foreigners please…
