Rotherham arent a bigger club but these owners are running us into the ground why would anyone leave a championship club to come here and work under these clowns.

In what way are we bigger than Rotherham?

Our average attendances this season: 12,800. Rotherham's: 9,300.

That could easily reverse with our league positions transposed.

They are certainly better run, and have an owner who is invested in their future.

Who gives a toss whether Rotherham are a bigger club or not. The fact is they are now a Championship club with a local owner who cares, a local manager who cares, with a squad full of players giving 100% week in week out. And not to mention the New York stadium is miles better than Oakwell, and I’m willing to bet the matchday experience in general is better.

We might average more fans a week, but that counts for bugger all. I am jealous of Rotherham United fans currently.

Right now, given how many of our fan base are not renewing STs I’d say Rotherham are a bigger club than us.
    That’s how far we’ve fallen…..

Just looked at the probable teams in League 1 next season. Looking at what I think is the OPs criteria, we’re about the 9/10th ‘biggest Club’ in the Division. But if you simply look at ambition for the future - ignoring those singing Kumbya - we come in at 24th.
I’m just checking whether there are 4 Clubs likely to be worse than us on the pitch. Obviously I don’t have to check that stat in terms of any Club being worse than us off the pitch.

In the general scheme of things we're a bigger club than Rotherham. Not by much but we are.
Currently, however, they are heading to a higher league and are much better run.
It's a shameful situation that Khaled and the owners should be looking at and hanging their heads.

If that's the only criterion though Farnham it means that Peterborough are a bigger club than Sunderland, we're bigger than Wednesday, Luton than Portsmouth etc.
However, if we continue to be mismanaged this shower could instil an apathy that takes us back to the 70s and crowds of under 5000 and a diet of fourth tier football.

I cannot believe that fans are discussing who is the biggest club us or Rotherham , how sad is that , between them they have had 1 season in the top flight out of a combined total of 250 plus seasons , in big club terms we are both small fry , currently Rotherham have the better team & league status , that is where the comparison ends.

Why jump from one club that can’t afford to stay on the championship to another?

Rotherham, with a few sensible additions could stay up next season. They’ve played well this year and have a good team sprit whom most already had a season in the Champ last time.

As we know all too well - the biggest difference in the Championship to L1, is that the majority of mistakes get punished in the Champ. It’s more clinical. Whereas in L1, you can be lucky and get away with some mistakes.

There’s nothing to stop Warne replicating a Luton tbf.
