Whatever happened to those? Have they been renamed or just disappeared from the shops?

I've seen some renamed as Romany Creams.

Helik is definitely championship standard. I’d also say Woodrow and Styles as well if used correctly.
Suspect Helik will be going back to Europe rather than staying in the championship though

Bo llocks. He'd be the best striker in League 1.

I suspect Helik (or more likely his agent) will try to 'encourage' a move with the world cup being at the end of the year. Styles, as others have said, may attract interest more based on last seasons form rather than this, although if he plays well in the Nations league matches it will help him (and us). Players with an option in the clubs favor could almost be viewed as having 2years left, so we could (but probably won't) be a bit harder with the transfer demands. I think a few of the players would probably like to see who the new manager is first so they can make a rough guess on how they'd be used in his system.

Counter intuitively, this next window isn’t about selling at a profit, but selling to generate cash, while alleviating the massive loss inducing wage bill.

Whatever we get for Morris, Woodrow, Collins, Styles, Helik, Andersen, or anyone else, is what we get. And it’s desperately needed to keep us afloat given the significant drop in revenue from TV, ticket sales, merchandising and sponsorships.

Have you not noticed that he can't run anymore?
His touch is still quality but I can't see us having a 10k/week striker in league 1 when we are supposedly up **** creek financially.

With Oulare on circa £7k a week I can't see any club being stupid enough to pay that sort of money/salary. When we sent him out on loan I understand we were contributing a significant amount of his wages and would envisage the same scenario next season if he's packed off out the club again.
Brittain I agree with you and putting 500k against him is very optimistic!!
Whilst the rest of what you state is true in terms of getting some of the higher earners off the wage bill and the reductions that will comw with relegation, I still can't see us being in anything other than a really difficult position.

Its an 18 month loan deal. Moving him on allowed us to sign Bassi and Quina realistically, so whilst we’re definitely not going to be getting his full salary covered some of it will be. If he could, somehow, score a couple next season they might be able to offload him in a reduced terms vs. length of contract scenario. Fingers crossed.

Ah yes, apologies forgot it was an 18 month loan deal. Yep, he clearly doesn't want to play for us so if we can get him out of the club whilst minimising any financial contribution then that would be best for all concerned. Hopefully Conway doesn't get duped on another signing like that again!

Assuming we take up the option on Halme.

    We could have:

    Walton.

    J. Williams, Halme, Kitching.

    Thomas, Wolfe, Kane, Oduor.

    Marsh, Cole, Schmidt.

    Bench:

    ICD,
    Helliwell,
    Sraha,
    Benson,
    Iseka,
    Ackroyd,
    Moon.

    Forgot about Aitchison.

Clubs did want them but Conway put unrealistic exaggerated fees on them, which post Covid-19, no one can afford to pay. All roads lead back to Paul Conway for the current problems at the club.

@Kettlewell . It doesn't look that bad without Woodrow, Morris, Brittain, Styles and Anderson. Imagine if we dropped on lucky and got top dollar for any of the "crown jewels" and Woodrow or Morris stayed?

You could argue the squad would be stronger without Brittain.

Are you sharing this as a positive? We’d need to add 5/6 players to the squad to make this a top ten team in League One. Which I think we can do.

The majority of that team aren’t proven at League One level or any level really.

Obbi played 25 minutes yesterday for RWD Molenbeek in the second leg of the second division play off final in Belgium.

The game ended 0-0 and RWD lost 1-0 on aggregate meaning they will play in the Belgian second division again next year.

The club won't sell everyone people are mentioning. There will be ins.
Personally hope the CEO gets on to Brian Marwood and asks for an early list of players available for loan. Wouldn't mind Carlos Borges for example.

Also he mentions Halme. Whos contract runs out in 2 months time for what I remember.

We have an option on Halme’s contract should we choose to take it.

I think most will leave. I’m expecting around five to be moved on that have been regular starters this season. Morris is the only top quality player I think we’ve got a chance of keeping.
