If ‘yes’ please give reasons. In a recognisable form of the English Language if possible. Thank you.

Yes, cos my local Labour council have done sweet FA, reduced bin collections, roads closed cos wont resurface etc etc etc...oh and when I had a knock on the door canvassing the labour candidate couldn't respond to a simple question!

Are you aware local council funding from central government has had massive cuts over the last 12 years?

So the cuts you talk about were enforced because of conservative government policy?

Not voting at all, elected Mayors are a waste of money, and apparently it's a part-time job in South Yorkshire.

Oh yes , the tories, the party of the people who today advised families struggling to feed themselves and their kids to buy cheaper food.
If anybody on here really is going to vote Tory, get some therapy!!!

Wonder which party has been in power since 2010?!!

“Annual core funding for local government is currently £15 billion less than it was in 2010. In practice, this amounts to around 50 percent of the core funding for services available to local authorities than was once the case. During that same period of time, costs and pressures have risen astronomically through protracted economic stagnation and relentless budgetary conservatism”

Not voting at all as there are no elections here. Shame really as I live in a very safe Conservative seat and I would love to know how things have changed (...if they have)

I nearly did but when i went to put my X on the postal ballot I just couldn't do it. Years of experience and conditioning!!

The reason? Two candidates and the 'independent' is to the right of Ghengis Khan. The Tory is Tory in name only - it's the only way to get elected. Still couldn't do it though.

Please let's refrain from having a go at people who say they will be voting Tory. Let us all try to encourage them not to with facts.

Labour have won every seat I've ever voted in. My point is the Tories will get in because they have more soft seats than Labour.

I voted Libdem in 2010 and Tory because of the referendum in 2019. In Pontefract Yvette Cooper (Labour) won and Labour won the Wingfield seat in Rotherham.

On neither occasion my vote has made a difference to the final outcome. Both were safe Labour seats.

    That consoles me slightly.

I'm battle hardened now. I won't Tory again but not because of peer pressure. They've done what they were voted in to do and now it's time for Labour to give us some freebies.

It’s not a general election, so surely you vote for the person who best serves your local interests.

Don't let facts get in the way.
One of the hardest. if not hardest hit local authorities in the country (from central government funding) . And the begging bowl has now been cut off. From Europe.

That’s the way I’ve voted. The current councillors in my ward are Labour and on the handful of issues I’ve flagged with them, they’ve been dreadful with no resolution over 12 months later.

With the Tory candidate (who lives dreadfully close and looks far too much like Lee bowyer) tanking and given up campaigning, it’s very much a free hit.
