Think it’s just disrespectful to both the fans and the club not to attend. Shame liked him but I think that shows what a disarray the club is in more than anything.
Don't blame you at all. I've got a young family and stopped going at the end of last season mainly due to financial implications. It's been fantastic spending more time with the kids and having so much fun with them and not getting stressed at Oakwell!! Like you, I won't return until this lot are gone.
Im the same as you. Youngish kids who i want to spend time with. Don’t need the stress or constant disappointment. I’ve realised I enjoyed last season not attending much more than this when I’ve been there.
Anyone at the Preston game would tell you he'd unlikely play today. He got scythed down twice. The second incident was as bad a tackle you'd be likely to see. All of us were astonished he managed to carry on playing. He could quite easily have gone off. But chose to try to carry on. As for attending today's game. It's not unusual for those not in the squad to not appear. Non story.
There's no way I'd play golf with an injured knee especially if I was already hugely injury prone and knew perfectly well that golf exerts pressure and twisting on the knee.
Has anyone actually seen Morris on the golf course? Or is it just an unsubstantiated rumour that's been started on Twitter?
I would if it was possible. Except I don't play golf often. An injured knee would not necessarily mean he couldn't play golf. But definitely not football. How on earth does anyone know the extent of his injury. Other than himself and the medical staff. Mountain out of a molehill thread imo.
As I said in my first post I'm not certain if he was classed as injured or if he was actually on the golf course. My point remains, having played a heck of a lot of golf, if I had his injury record I wouldn't be anywhere near a golf course nor, as a professional would I expect my employers to allow me to be.
That's In your opinion without knowing the extent of HIS injury. Not what you decide. We have medical staff that would determine what and what can't be done. If he's gone against advice. I'm sure he'll be pulled in for it.
Yawn. Bit different when it’s the final game of the season in what could be his last chance being seen by the teams fans. He’s made himself out to be some talisman that leads the team but that’s only when he’s on the pitch and again I think that shows what a poor state the whole team is in. He could have gone along to lend his experience to the younger players etc but there we are. Seasons been over since about November in all reality so no surprise players have decided they want to duck out of the limelight etc.
I repeat. get a grip. Non story. Just summat else to moan about for moanings sake. Imho ie. And I was there today. I won't be losing any sleep on this one.
Its not moaning for moaning's sake though is it? This club's hierarchy has a history of lying to the supporters. They've said that Morris is out with a knee injury. Is that true or is it another lie?
Sell the frigging lot of em to any mug that'll buy em. All have the heart of a pea. They gave up way too early in the season. Also its a goodbye to these owners and also no way is Devaney mangerial material.
