    Paul Conway could release a statement. Chien Lee could. Grace hung could. Jean cryne could. James Cryne could. Khaled El-Ahmed could.

    Not one of them gives a toss about supporters

    Has Grace Hung done owt since she's been on the board. All I recall is that picture on the screen in Times Square.
    Chien Lee used to tweet when we won but not when we lost.
    Paul Conway just talks b0ll0cks, same with El-Ahmed.

    They're destroying every single club they're at. It shouldn't be allowed to happen...Nice fans did warn us what this lot would be like.
    Wonder if Gordon Owen will be back on here before start of next season still claiming Chien Lee's a billionaire :D:D

    This is without doubt the most pathetic and diabolically bad season in Barnsley FCs history and to make matters worse it is all self inflicted. The board through their actions and decisions have turned a team who were feared by other teams in the league last season so much that some radically changed their playing styles when playing us into the whipping boys of the league and the fight and determination so evident last season as completely disappeared from the squad. The club is a complete mess the players have downed tools the CEO is out of his depth and can't open his mouth or make a desicision without managing to piss the fan base off. There is a sense of hopelessness around the club. The board the whole board are totally responsible for the disaster that unfolded this season and their silence speaks volumes about their arrogance and attitude towards Barnsley FCs fans

    It's absolutely laughable that in February the club announced a promotion for an employee to marketing commercial and business director leading a new look commercial marketing and communications team.

    Well he's done a cracking job. Communication is fècking awful and that team should be ashamed of its output as should so many more at this rotten from the core club

    I think you're being unfair here @SuperTyke . The person in question, along with all the staff at BFC has always shown 100% commitment to the club, including contacting me during lockdown when I'd posted that sonething wasn't working for me regarding ifollow. The promotion has probably meant yet more jobs added to the to do list. I don't think taking our frustration out on the nuts and bolts of the club is the right way to go.

    Nuts and bolts? He's on the board of directors and directly responsible for communication.
    Remember he also is the person who categorically stated stewarding was not a factor in the closure of the west stand which was corrected by Khaled months laters so I think there is 100% commitment but is it to the fans or his bosses?

    This season was like Brexit.
    Playing style = Europe:
    Everyone moaned about it, but we depended on it.
    Players = the electorate:
    They were once interested, but are now completely apathetic and want to leave.
    Boardroom = Government:
    Lying clowns that is harder to get rid of than a bit of meyt out a dog's gob.
    Fans = Working Class:
    Shafted.

    And the most comparable thing - self inflicted.

    Khaled took 100% responsibility for that didn't he? We've seen his reply on another post, little wonder that the staff under him have no clue what's what re. The West stand. If my boss told me we had to close something for a safety reason, I wouldn't want to contradict them.
