    I like Whittaker (maybe cos she's a yorkshire lass :D) but got to agree with Jimmy, the writing has been abysmal recently.

    I’m a bit woke admittedly and welcome the new Dr. Who regardless of their race or sexuality. I do feel though, that the role should have gone to a genuine time traveller

    We're all time travelers. I haven't quite figured out how the gearbox works, so I'm stuck with one speed only and no reversing, but I live in hope.

    Intetesting - I dont have netflix so never saw the series but did see it got great reviews

    Personally all I care about is is he any good - from what I have seen the chances are he will be - his colour sexuality or gender arent all that important in a fictional alien character as far as I can tell

    I’ve never really watched it since the late sixties after I’d come home from Oakwell on a Saturday evening with my Dad with a few pints of mussels from Barnsley market.

    It took me a long time to realize I could escape from the Daleks by hiding upstairs. That stumped the evil buggers.

    Not anymore. Sometime in the newer series I think under Ecclestone as the Doctor they learned to ascend a staircase daubing “ELAVATE” whilst levitating up so you’d need a new plan now. The towel over their one eye and just tip them over should still work
