We could try persuade/afford league 2 top scorer Dom Telford from Newport and Mullin from Wrexham? Are we an attractive enough club for those?

Mullin rumoured to be on 4k a week at Wrexham.

I think it comes down to money more than anything. And the answer, sadly, is no. I imagine players at Wrexham are getting nice incentives from their owners too.

Just shows how much football has turned on its head. You've got Hollywood stars pumping money into a 5th-tier team in north Wales, former United players financing their pet project as it climbs through the leagues, and in South Yorkshire a consortium of 'billionaires' who appear to be money-shy, MIA and content to let the club self-implode.

Not as much as I imagine we’re still paying Obbi though.

We’d definitely be attractive to those players. But it would depend on where they’re at on their careers.

I’d be wary of assuming the leading goalscorers are the best players though. Sometimes they just suit the style they’re at at the time, often in more unfashionable setups, so who the new Head Coach is will dictate who we should go for.

Yes we play at a better standard and in better surroundings with the stadium. The question for me would be are they league one level? Mullin has scored a lot of goals but would have to come up two leagues in one go, which most people struggle to do.

I'd suggest we may be attractive, and likely more attractive for those looking in rather than our own view.

What i would say though, we shouldn't be entertaining making any offer that involves a fee if or until we have a surplus generated from our player sales, and even then I'd be inclined to try and not spend money on fees.

What’s the possibility we will hear something from the Hierarchy?

We've got 6 million of cuts to make in order to lose the same amount as we have been doing. And as all the savings have gone we have a couple of million of extra cuts as we can no longer dip into the savings. Plus the cuts required to pay back the EFL loan. And the cuts required due to season ticket sales falling off a cliff.

    Absolutely zilch.
Seen statements put on here from Donny and Posh websites, apologising for failures and setting out their intent to put things right.
What will we get this week then I wonder?
    I can guess.....
