on a Sky comedy channel last night. Used to watch that in the 60s and 70s in good old black and white. Jimmy Jewell, Joe Gladwin etc. "Has he beeeen?" Nice to see that the channel introduction for the show now shows a warning that some may find the content unacceptable. Hold my hand someone, I'm about to melt.
I watched it, but I can't remember much about it, except that it was set in a pickle factory. My memory of her follow up show "Not On Your Nellie!" is a little better, though not by much. "What are you today, Gilbert?"
One of my favourite lines from "Summer Wine" was Norah angrily turning on Wally (Joe Gladwin) and saying "Look at me when I'm shouting at you!" He played the perfect henpecked husband.
