Could we now change tactics on recruiting a head coach? Who would your top 3 targets be? Realistic targets.

    1. Mick McCarthy - I think it could be his time, more chance now than any other time I think. Finish his managerial career with us? Would love Disco as his number 2.

    2. Gareth Ainsworth - knows how to take on L1. Maybe if we could persuade him to come with that little bit of investment he could take us to where we want to be next season.

    3. Daniel Stendel - just cos a still love him. Ha. Would be a big ask for him to recreate what he did last time, and I know ‘never go back’ but he has the passion and knows what the fans want. If not Stendel then JFH

I'd love if we had a manager and not a bloody head coach.

I don’t think anything changes with realistic prospects. I think currently we need someone who can engage with the supporters, someone to give us a bit of hope whilst slowly building us back up again. An unknown foreign export isn’t what we need right now, & Devaney needs to stay out of the frame.

Who that could be is anyones guess.

Couldn't care less with the job title given is head coach or manager. It's not going to make any difference. There's not going to be one man that is in charge of identifying targets, giving them contracts etc.. as well as coaching and selecting the team.

I'm just hoping that with the news of the Directors shake up, the appointment of the new head coach/manager is done within the next week so we can start planning for next season.

Why don't we just make the call to the elephant in the room and ask really nicely to his Miss's if her husband can come out to play.
We all know Mr Warnock will be bored senselessly knocking his balls around the golf club.
She'll be glad he's out from under her feet.

Have to say Warnock would be top of my list, with Disco no 2.

Probably not. Warnock saying he wasn't approached when Ass Baggy was appointed suggested he may have been interested. Maybe I'm clutching at straws, but if they are going to send any kind of message to fans it needs to be someone who knows English Football. That could be Hasselbaink, or a few others. Really can't see Big Mick taking it, for the reasons he's stated so many times.

Struggle to see Macca ever wanting the job. Unless upstairs as advisor to the person appointed.

Could be perfect timing for Mick, local guy comes to rescue amid personal plea from Jean etc.
