Now that 'they've' gone do you think .......

    (A) the new board could be looking at an English manager with league experience ?

    (B) will possibly keep to the same foreign philosophy?

    (C) will try and recruit from within to follow the Hecky model with connections to the club?

It's not a poll. I was just sat thinking. Thoughts ....

I don't think it matters cunning stunt. Just the best for the job. Be nice to get someone that brings a bit more but it's a big summer to get it right.

Just hope they are close to appointing someone because the players will be back in about 6 weeks' time.

You need to put your mind to it, and then you come up with the same old trawl that brought us such as we have had over the last few years.

To be honest. until last season it has worked. In my extreme minority opinion. Struber was the best.

I do not want a worn out workdog. I want someone who might have the spark to ignite us. Even if you or I have never heard of him before. Like Val, but without kicking it into the stand from kick off.

I'm hoping for a, well the English league experience bit at least. Dont really care where they are from. Mick McCarthy or someone the fans can really get behind would be my choice. I think it's too early for Devaney (at least if he's got any sense). Would expect to see him involved in the first team though. Finances might put paid to option a though but who knows what might happen with the new board in place?
I believe we've been speaking to coaches that fit in category a but I bet there are probably all three types of candidates in the process
