Nothings changed until something changes looks to me like it's just "rich" people playing musical chairs. Unless there is a complete change of emphasis in the recruitment and retention policy, which places on field success at its heart and sees player resale value as a reward for that success not its main focus nothing will change, also the club needs to stop making PR disasters every other week and I'd start by changing the CEO. Unless we see real and concrete plans put into action to put right the many mistakes of the last few years then today means absolutely nothing it really is just "rich" people playing parlour games in the Boardroom.
I think you've got this very wrong. Chien and Conway are no longer board members, they don't have any input into decision-making henceforth. It seems that some people want to criticise the club at every opportunity.
I didn't say they did but we've had words not deeds apart from musical chairs. If / when there is concrete proof things are going to be different then that's a different matter until then however it's just "Rich" people swapping roles.
Oh I understand what's happened "rich" people have seen their investment devalued and have apportioned blame and taken steps to try to change things However until there's concrete proof things are changing nothings changed apart from the names in the Boardroom. It's not just the names that needs to change there needs to be a change of values and direction if that happen great if not we are no further forward.
What did you expect to happen? 15:00pm, announcement of a board shake up 15:05pm, Jean Cryne abseiling down from the new West Stand?
It isn’t rich people playing musical chairs. Or just shifting around in the boardroom. It’s people who care having to watch Rome burn around them without any power to effect change. Certain figures have proactively brought this change because they could see the football club continuing to disconnect from its roots and alienate the town and supporters. Yes it’s an investment, and yes they’ll not have enjoyed seeing it lose value, but that’s only one of many different drivers here. Having money doesn’t mean you’re devoid of passion and emotion for a business you’re involved in.
So in layman's terms, the Crynes have contacted the investors, told them Conway and Chien are making a pig's ear of things and got them to vote for Conway/Chien to no longer represent them? We've probably got the AS Nancy fans to thank too, with their protests adding to the relegations in showing Conway's ineptitude!

Worth pointing out here that we believe the concerns at board level, and plan for action, started well before any protests. Either here or overseas. This wasn’t an output because of that.
Well the deeds are about to replace the words. The big action yesterday was the removal of Lee and Conway from the board and therefore excluding them from any decision making, a huge positive step in the right direction. Ironically you have just added more to the words with your 'musical chairs' jibe.
As is his right and his choice. Elon Musk is pumping billions into Twitter and if he wanted to be on the board he would be, make no mistake.
I believe he initially chose not to accept a board seat as it would impinge his full takeover plans. If and once ratified, he'll own the board.
Thank you And unsurprising really that he has chosen to do that. And in reaction to the initial response to my post, it is a wholly different scenario to the one we currently have on Grove Steeet.
If Khaled still has 99.9% say in the day to day running of the club, what's changed apart from Lee & Conway moving on?
