I think the new look regime at the club need to work quickly in the summer' get a new coach/manager in place early in order for him to identify targets get them in and hit the ground running for next season' just for once lets be on the ball and show some intent going forward..
They need to work very quickly to make things look different. The Cryne family are still here who were responsible for bringing the 80% to our club. The secretive group who own us we still don't know who they are. Neerav is apparently loved so treated differently to the rest brought in same time as him. Those no longer on the board we don't know how much they are still involved with us. We don't know anything about Julie who's a replacement mouthpiece for a secretive group of people. I don't understand why it's been so private for years so when the consortium were brought in we couldn't have been told that the buyer/s want to remain secret with board members brought in to represent them. All yesterday looks like is our secret owners have replaced a mouthpiece. I still stand by saying we need completely fresh ownership with someone who doesn't have the stench of last season on them.
You're wrongly assuming that Neerav/Crynes etc knew that PMG shares weren't all their own at the time of the purchase.
I had an initial thought on this and then decided to just check what the fit and proper persons test suggested in terms of divulging true ownership. The first search picked up a Linklaters article (so I'm inclined to believe such an article) which states.... "The OD Test was introduced in 2004 to ensure that owners of EPL clubs are deemed fit and proper persons to run a football club by reference to certain detailed criteria, and has been incrementally expanded since then. Any person "acquiring control" of a club must submit the Owners' and Directors' Declaration. Control is defined to include anyone (i) with the power to appoint/remove a majority of the board of directors and/or (ii) holding directly or indirectly 30% of the total voting rights of a club – thereby capturing even minority investors over this threshold." It also covers the EFL, not just EPL. But I find it curious in the extreme that Chien Lees individual holding falls just 0.2% short of seemingly triggering the OD Test.
