    FAO: @Exile

I'm led to believe the box office have tried calling you, and sent email.

The explanation given above by @Frans is on-point.

I hope you get sorted buddy!

Thank you - I have just got an email from Vicky. I am in a 'no-reception' area phone-wise and don't have a land line but hopefully we'll get it sorted across email. Thanks for your help.

Exactly how it went for me as well. Hopefully this and the e-mail from the box office will be help getting the season ticket renewed.

If the new board want to reconnect with the fans like they say they do . The early bird price should be the fu price now and until the end of June . Come on Jean sort it out

The early bird price should be the price we all pay no matter when we buy the season ticket. It’s the same as the double glazing salesman saying if you sign now I will knock money off . It’s not morally right in my opinion

right. so no early bird at all then? just a fixed price for everyone? what incentive would that give anyone to renew early though? the Club need as many renewals in as early as possible, to know what budget they're playing with. if it was a fixed price, I suspect many people would wait until the last minute to renew. probably 'wait to see who we sign' would be a common reason. but we wouldn't be able to sign anyone, because we wouldn't know what our budget was. because no one has renewed.

I imagine every club in football has some kind of early bird scheme. it's not a scam. it's just an incentive to get money into the Club early so they can plan. if we had fixed price, I suspect our summer recruitment would take a hammering.

it's not rubbish I'm afraid. it's basic marketing and financial planning, and pretty much every professional sporting Club on the planet will do it. but fair dos.

What rubbish. Everyone can just renew the day before the first home game as we'd have no incentive to give our cash months in advance and our club would miss out on transfer targets as far less money would be coming in to the club.

Conversely, someone may have divested themselves of Bitcoin to comply with the earlier deadline and saved themselves a lot more in losses than the 0.0001% interest on their £330 they would have earned in the bank for a fortnight. :D

It’s not really an incentive then is it . More like a punt with your money . Betting that those in charge use our money wisely to secure better players. That worked last year when 11,500 of us renewed ! .
Going on reports we have sold 2500 season tickets so far and at on average 200 quid each, so far we raised £500,000
That will just about pay off poya then !

    !

Edit. Sorry Dreamboy was meant for mick woodhouse clicked wrong reply.

What Marc says is far more understandable than your stance (MW) . But I would meet you halfway. The difference between early bird prices and full prices are too drastic.
If, like myself it was per se a £30 difference. I would still renew at early bird, but would not lose much sleep if I missed the deadline. But there has to be a deadline. To assess budgeting.
This season has thrown up special circumstances. And I would extend for this season only. But I don't think mid to late may in normal circumstances would be unreasonable. And end of June to claim your own seat. But a small payment to reserve until then.

I think a 20 to 30 quid difference would be sufficient. The gaps too big. And for people like me who are reconsidering after yesterdays news but need time to decide extending the EB to the end of the month seems fair.

    Here`s a revolutionary idea!
On the basis we could do with all the support we can muster - why don`t we scrap the EarlyBird/Full prices all together and just leave the prices as they are. It`s not like there`s going to be a mad scramble ant time before the start of the season and how many existing/new fans are going to wait and then pay full price?
BTW - I`ve already got my tickets.
