Yeah that’s what I’m saying, but also agreeing they would have reviewed the year, as you would expect them to every year.
That's not the case though is it? This is a long time in the making and I suspect it has more to do with the court case than anything else. Although last season won't have helped. I personally give 0% of the praise/plaudits to the Conway Out muppets, too.
I suspect it has more to do with being part of a board of directors, having zero power, and watching the rest of the board destroy the club decision by decision.
Even more ironic is that your calling out loko for not answering your questions while dodging any question thrown at you
I haven't seen a game at Oakwell, or any other ground for that matter, since the last game before Covid. I didn't buy a season ticket for the Covid hit season because I'd pretty much already had enough of the board by then, I was confident I wouldn't get to see any live football and I wasn't prepared to prop up the business of people with the reputation of being very rich and getting nothing in return when the sole reason those people were here was to make a profit. If they wanted to make a profit from the club then they could finance it during the difficult times, I wouldn't be doing it for them. I felt entirety vindicated in this decision when later that season the accounts showed three quarters of a million taken from BFC as part payment for the purchase of the club. At which point I vowed never to set foot in Oakwell while the owners were still in charge. I bring this up now not because my actions had any effect or influenced anything at all, they didn't, but to make it clear that the ill feeling towards those recently departed has been present for a long time. That mistrust has gathered pace and numbers over this past season, but two years ago it wasn't just me. The Crynes are BFC fans just as I am. It appears Neerav is too, although I wasn't really aware of just how much affection he had for us until the last few days. I would imagine they have been privvy to a hell of a lot more to get angry about than I am aware of and been carrying those feelings longer than me. Loko reckons this takeover has been in preparation for 6-9 months. I would wager the seeds were sewn in the minds of some of the major players a long while before that. The Conway Out Facebook group had nothing to do with this takeover. Neither did this BBS. Nor any other outlet for fan dissatisfaction. Not people staying away and not a drop in season ticket sales. All these things display fan dissatisfaction. There has been a takeover by Barnsley fans, they didn't need to see dissatisfaction in others, they've been feeling it themselves and probably, due to their position and knowing exactly what has been going on, for a lot longer than most of us.
