Parekh seems like a decent bloke gone home and away with the club past few seasons but kept a back seat. Tempting to buy a st just want conman and lee totally gone.

which of course acknowledges that they felt the previous decision makers didn’t. Exactly one of our key points of dissatisfaction this past few years.

They will be gone eventually, no doubt about that. Just trust in this new regime and get behind them
It feels right and I think it will turn out that way.
Over the moon at this weeks news. Didn’t see it coming at all, been a real unexpected bonus.

That’s all we ever wanted wasn’t it?

Having met him personally he’s a very likeable lad, I’m pleased he’s still at the club and I’m almost certain he’ll be a massive success. What I like about that email is you can almost feel his love and passion for the club, he really seems to care.

I will not be renewing, yet. I’m happy to miss the early bird offer, I want to see what kind of summer we have first. I certainly don’t think he’s lying when he says to yell get things right this time but time will tell.

I go to bed a lot happier tonight having seen this though. It’s weird, I al owt feel like I’ve got my club back. Almost…

Like the statement he said the right things which in itself is a vast improvement over the last 12 months when every club statement just seemed to make things worse. Now the words need to be backed up by deeds and we may finally be back on the right track.

wow I thought this club was going to liquidate next season and we'd never see Barnsley play football again and that football was finished and that the world was ending

At least this email communication is something that the previous exboard members never made the effort to do. I hope that now we can move forward and build bridges with the board and fan base that others have destoyed.

Tbf though, any strategy isn’t gonna keep a manager here for very long. If they do well they’ll get poached. If they don’t they’ll get sacked.

Im not saying it will be you can appoint Head Coaches and buy players to a strategy. You don't want to be changing routes every 14 months.

    As you say.
Wages and failure. The 2 main reasons. Some also demand clauses in their contracts. And some ignore guidelines eg Stendl.
