If he was on the pitch normally would have been Redders yeah.

Redfearn missed three penalties on the bounce, so Neil Thompson took the last two we were awarded. These were at home to WBA and away to Crystal Palace & he scored them both.

Jovo scored a pen in one of the early drubbings away somewhere (Southampton in think). No idea where Redders was

He also scored against Manchester City at home when Redfearn was suspended.

Correct mate and the net is still shaking from the one he took at Palace. What a bullet that one was :)

Also correct mate. I remember it well, but I thought we were just talking about the Prem season. I've just re-read CS's post.....:):)

What about the time Andranik Teymourian won a penalty in front of the Ponty End, against Forest, and threw a right tantrum when JCR said he was taking it? JCR proceeded to miss, causing another Teymourian tantrum.

Andranik kissed JCR just before he took it, we called it the kiss of death for years.

Worst against us has to be the one for Oldham in the League Cup (I think) when Oldham player throws himself to the ground with no Reds player within 10 feet of him, and the ref gives a penalty - Unbelievable Jeff !

Beat me to it mate. But you saved me the trouble of trying to find out who it was against. :)

Gunner Halle, in the re-arranged replay. After the ref George Cain called the game off the week before due to the non-existent fog......

Definitely the worst I've ever seen given against us. Followed closely by one at leeds. Well outside the area. And the recent one (1st) at west brom.

Allow me to flesh out the bones on this one. It was in front of the Old Spion Kop and poor old Bob didn't hit the Corner Flag but his kick landed full in the face of the old Half-Time Scoreboard situated where the modern day equivalent is now. I was there standing at the front, level with the half way line on one of the piles of six bricks which the club put out so us little kids could see over the barrier!

v Wednesday at home 08-09. JCR's pen was good, but the ref couldn't wait to even it out. Leon Clarke's pirouette would've been Oscar worthy... if it wasn't so pathetic.

Wayne Bullimore against Leicester in the FA cup after Archdeacon had levelled up in the last minute.

He looked like a petrified barn owl chick before he took it.
