    Excuse for a holiday somewhere warm and the chance to celebrate with their own in the place where they could've won a European Trophy, I'd guess.

    And yes, they'd have had to charter an extra 100 flights to fit all the extra Wednesday fans

    I got a glasgow mate over there... motor mechanic, married a kiwi woman, couple of kids, boy must be 20 now and a good footballer...
    His dad has been 35 years away from glasgow... Doing a three week pilgrimage.... scotland, family, football, Rangers...
    He stays true...

    If Barnsley get a pre season friendly down the road at Gainsborough Trinity I'd be struggling to make the ten minute journey.

    I think it was a slight exaggeration. Think of the affect on the Scottish economy of 80,000 adults,missing work all at once.
